On 9th May 2018 the second year's trainees as tourism management assistant (TOK61) and management assistant for tourism and leisure (KTF61) went on an English excursion to visit the city of Rostock. As part of the English course each student prepared and gave a short presentation on one of the various tourist attractions in Rostock. For example, we acquired information on Rostock`s gates and churches, the city wall, the monastery and the city harbour. For many students it was an exciting and nerve-racking situation to work as an English tour guide. However, in the end it was a success and a great achievement for us to introduce the sights of our city.
The excursion was accompanied by our English teacher Miss Beese and our English language assistant Miss Snow. We all enjoyed a very informative and sunny day.
